FAQs

The below may answer some questions you have regarding our indoor sleepover parties and garden glamping but if not please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to help.

What is the maximum number you can cater for in a bell tent?

A maximum of 8 junior beds or 6 full size beds can be set up for a sleepover in the bell tent.  Our graze tent and chill out lounge can accommodate up to 12 people.

How much space do I need for an indoor sleepover?

Each teepee and mattress needs approximately 120cm x 165cm of floor space using junior mattresses and 120cm x 200cm with full size matresses.  The breakfast tray is an additional 56cm x 36cm which we usually placed at the end of the bed but we can also put it on the bed if space is limited.   You need to consider the area around the tents so that children have space to move.   We are quite resourceful in making space work though so please always ask.

How much space do I need for a bell tent?

We require a minimum of 7m x 7m of flat lawn and 2m of clear height.  We cannot erect the tent on pathways or decking.   When measuring please take into account any play equipment, garden furniture and overhanging trees (for the height).

How much space do I need for a dining igloo?

We require 4m x 4m of flat ground.  We can set up on grass, decking or patio.

What do the children or adults sleep on?

We provide 10cm thick foam mattresses with protectors.  A pillow and pillow protector, fitted sheet, 10.5 tog duvet and duvet cover.  All the bedding is anti-allergy and is washed after every party using non-biological power.  The mattress is 165cm in length for children under 10 and 200cm for children over 10 years of age and adults if space allows.

What is included in the price for an indoor sleepover?

Free delivery and collection within a 10-mile radius of SL6 8HF.   Each child will have an individual teepee with fully made up bed.  Themed accessories including cushions and blankets, a tray table, battery operated fairy lights, garlands and personalised chalk name board.  The room is set up as per our agreed time and then we return the following day to pack everything away.

What is included in the price for a bell tent?

Free delivery and collection within a 10-mile radius of SL6 8HF.  Set up and styling of the bell tent and accessories including fully made up beds (if booked), beautiful accessories, rugs, lanterns and scatter cushions.   The hire is typically for 24 hours.   Extra hours can be added if required (please contact us for prices).

How long does it take to set up?

Erection of the bell tent takes 40 minutes and styling takes between 60-90 minutes depending on whether beds are booked and how many.  Set up takes between 60 - 90 minutes for an indoor party.   We bring a lot of equipment with us so it would be helpful for us to park as close to the house as possible and that access to where we are setting up is clear.

Do I need a power supply?

All our lights are battery powered and we provide spares but we do need a power supply if using our igloo during colder months to heat it.

My lawn is artificial is that OK for a bell tent?

Unfortunately not.  We need to anchor the tent to the ground with pegs in order to make it secure and this would unfortunately put holes in your artificial lawn.

What happens if there is damage to one of the teepees, bell tent or accessories?

Don't worry we understand accidents happen which is why we ask for a security deposit which is refundable after the event.  In the event of any damage we will contact you to discuss.   Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full information which also details our replacements costs.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes we ask for a £75 security deposit on completion of our booking form for an indoor sleepover, £200 for an igloo, £100 for a bell tent and £50 for a picnic.   The full balance of the party is required 14 days prior to the party date.    The security deposit will be refunded once the equipment has been collected and inspected - normally within 48 hours of the party.

What areas do you cover?

We offer free delivery within a 10-miles radius of SL6 8HF.  An additional charge of £1.10  per mile will be charged for parties outside of our free delivery zone up to a maximum of 20 miles.     Our luxe picnics for 6 or less and stand-alone cinema hire are only available to locations within a 10-mile radius of SL6.

What age range are the sleepover parties suitable for?

We cater for both girls and boys from the age of 6+ upwards for our indoor sleepovers.   Please note that children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult which is normally the parents of the party host.

Can the indoor teepee tents be used outside?

No.  Not our sleepover teepees but why not book our bell tent if you are looking to camp outside.

What if the weather forecast is bad?

The bell tent is extremely durable and designed to withstand all weathers.   We would only postpone in the event of very extreme weather where safety could be comprised.

Is the bell tent available all year round?

Sadly not.  Our bell tent season starts after Easter and ends in September.

I've booked an outdoor picnic but what if it rains?

Our picnic tables work just as well inside so if the weather turns or the forecast is not looking good we can set it up inside instead.

Do you provide heating in the bell tent?

No but we do provide cozy 10.5 tog duvets with our sleepovers and baskets of blankets in case anyone feels chilly.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that things don't always go to plan and there maybe a need for you to change the date or even cancel your booking.   If this happens please let us know as soon as you can and we will see what we can do to help.  Unfortunately the security deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.  Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details of our policy.

Do you have insurance?

Yes we have public liability insurance and we are DBS checked.
